TCW (The Car Workshop) is a privately owned business specializing in automotive servicing and repairs. The business was founded by the present owner Carlos Freire some 19 years ago and had itʼs workshop facility at the Engen garage in the Fairmount / Sandringham area. Subsequently the business was moved in 2022 to a far more suitable property in Kew.

 

Carlos Freire who has over 40 years of experience in this industry did his apprenticeship training and qualification with BMW. There he worked for the BMW dealer network and then moved over to BMW Motorsport where he had various responsibilities of which the primary one was the building, preparation and maintenance of the Touring Cars.  After leaving BMW he then worked for Rob Green Motorsport doing engine building and Dyno-tuning. He then gained extensive experience working at independent firms on various makes of vehicles.

 

TCW offers a comprehensive mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnosis repairs to all makes of vehicles. TCW also has a compliment of numerous other motor mechanics with an accumulated experience of over 80 years. All the work is guaranteed and the prices are very fair and reasonable.
