I would like to nominate my local service station, TCW (The Car Workshop), for an award. My son and I have made use of their excellent service and repair workshop on many occasions and have found the owner Mr. Carlos Freire and staff honest and reliable. My car was in dire need of a major overhaul and I took it to TCW. After examining the problems, Carlos explained what was needed and gave me a quote. I accepted and took my car to them. Just over a week later, during which time I was kept appraised of the process, I was able to collect my car. No extras were added to the original quote and I was, and still am, very pleased with the condition of my car which had been vacuumed and polished. A year previously the water pipe on the radiator had perished. As I could not get to the garage, they sent a vehicle to tow my car to the garage and they returned it to me once they had replaced the pipe. When I asked the cost, I was told no charge. How’s that for not ripping off a woman pensioner. I think Mr Freire and his staff deserve a nomination for their dedication to honest service.

For the last three years Matrix Sound has depended on The Car Workshop to service and repair our company vehicles. We have always received good service and fair pricing and as a result of this a number of the partners in the company as well as some employees rely on TCW to take care of their personal vehicles.

The fact that the proposed repairs are always discussed with us and explained thoroughly beforehand ensures that there are no nasty cost surprises. There is also a certain peace of mind that comes from knowing that the people looking after your vehicles have integrity as costs can get very high when you have a number of vehicles to keep on the road.
